FAQ
Your questions answered.
What temperature should a cold room be?
For chilled storage (fresh produce, meat, drinks), it is usually between 0 and +4 °C depending on the products. For frozen storage, the target is −18 °C or colder. We set the controls to match what you store.
My cold room has stopped cooling: what should I do meanwhile?
Keep door openings to a minimum, check it closes properly and note the displayed temperature. Move sensitive products if needed, then call us.
How often should a refrigeration system be serviced?
At least once a year is recommended. Depending on the amount of refrigerant, periodic leak checks are also mandatory.
What should I prepare for a cold room project?
The dimensions of the available space, the type and volume of products to store, and a possible location for the condensing unit. We then suggest the right solution.
